I’m thrilled and grateful that you’re here. I reside on the beautiful island of Sint Maarten, famously known as ‘the Friendly Island,’ and although English isn’t my native language, it’s Dutch.
Living on Sint Maarten provides the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature. The island’s enchanting beauty, comprising sun, sand, turquoise waters, and breathtaking scenery, truly nourishes the soul.
For years, I’ve been on a quest to discover my true identity. What are my talents, passions, purpose, and qualities? Despite pursuing various courses, training, and even maintaining a personal blog, I struggled to unearth my authentic self. Then came the lockdown due to the coronavirus, a turning point that sparked significant changes in my life.
During this time, I delved into New Age practices for two years. From Astro travel to Tarot readings, Astrology, Reiki, and connecting with spirit guides, I explored a multitude of avenues, even pursuing mentorships to become a High Priestess. I thought I had found my calling—I believed I was a Lightworker, a healer.
However, reality hit hard. Coming from a spiritual family, I was drawn to the New Age movement, but witnessing my mother’s experiences with entities and demons challenged my beliefs. Despite attempts to raise her vibration, it wasn’t until she called upon the name of Jesus that these malevolent forces fled.
This revelation prompted me to reevaluate my beliefs. I embarked on a journey to understand who Jesus Christ truly is. Through attending deliverance services and witnessing remarkable healings, I experienced a profound spiritual awakening. Letting go of New Age practices wasn’t easy—I faced spiritual attacks, nightmares, and physical discomfort. Yet, with the support of a friend and fervent prayers, Lord Jesus has completely set me free!
Since then, I’ve immersed myself in the Bible, finding peace and purpose in my newfound faith. I’m eternally grateful to the Lord Jesus for opening my spiritual eyes and guiding me away from the New Age. I no longer search for my purpose; I rest in His love and grace. It is very important that you read the bible, you have to renew your mind and how you can break different spirits of.
Do not isolate yourself and think that you can do it all on your own.
My experience is that a lot of people will fall back quickly.
Don’t give up, 1 thing I can tell you, your whole life will never be the same when your eyes are fixed on Jesus!
If you don’t know Jesus as your Savior yet, I want to give you the opportunity to invite Jesus into your life. It will change your life. If you say the words below, and if you believe them with all your heart, you will be born again: as a child of God in God’s family.
Say it out loud:
Jesus, I invite You to come into my life. I believe you are the Son of God who died on a cross to pay for the forgiveness of my sins. Thank you that my sins have also been forgiven. I receive that forgiveness and want to thank you, that from now on, I am a child of God.
When you have prayed this prayer, I want to congratulate you. You have become a ‘new creation’! The old has passed, everything has now become truly new in your life. God’s Spirit has just come to dwell in you. A new era is dawning for you with Jesus by your side.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”
