The Book of Revelation: A Warning for Today!

April 20, 2024
An outline of the Book of Revelation

Are you prepared for what’s to come?
I’ve put together a simple summary of the Book of Revelation because my heart is burdened with the urgency to warn as many people as possible about the events that lie ahead.
It’s a call for believers of Christ to be ablaze with fervor, spreading the gospel, the good news, far and wide. Our mission is clear: to save as many souls as we can.

I firmly believe, deep in my heart, that the onset of the great tribulation is imminent. Just take a look at the state of our world Today. The signs are all around us, signalling that something huge is about to go down.

In Revelation, we see visions of seals being broken, trumpets sounding, and bowls pouring out divine judgment. It’s a stark warning of the horror times ahead. But amidst the chaos, there is hope. For those who heed the call and embrace the truth, there is salvation.

As believers, we have a solemn duty to share this message of hope and redemption. Let us not be complacent or indifferent to the signs of the times. Instead, let us rise up with boldness and urgency, proclaiming the truth of God’s love and the promise of eternal life through His son, Jesus Christ.

Will you join me in spreading the word and shining the light in the darkness? Together, let us prepare ourselves and others for the days ahead. The time to act is now!

An outline of The Book of Revelation

It begins with John, on the island of Patmos in the Aegean Sea, addressing letters to the seven churches of Asia.  It uses visions and symbolic imagery to offer a glimpse of God’s plan for a new creation. See how the visions of Revelation point to the fulfilment of God’s promise to Abraham and his purpose for humanity.

Chapter 2 and 3

The 7 churches:

Commendation       Rebuke     Action
Ephesus (2:1-7)
Hard work, endurance
Lost first love Remember & repent
Smyrna (2:8-11) Persecuted, poverty    No rebuke   Don’t fear, be faithful
Pergamum (2:12-17)  Remained loyal      Tolerated compromise Repent
Thyatira (2:18-29) Love, Faith, serviceTolerated immorality    Repent
Sardis (3:1-6)   Effective    Superficial  Wake up, Repent
Philadelphia (3:7-13)Faithful    No rebuke Hold on, endurance
Laodicea (3:14-22)     No commendation  Lukewarm   Rely on Jesus, not yourself, Repent

After chapter 3 the church is not mentioned anymore. I believe Jesus Christ take his church (believers) home to heaven. This will occur in the twinkling of an eye, receive glorified body and meet the Lord in the air. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.  (The rapture)

Chapter 4: God’s throne is described.
Chapter 5: focuses on a vision of a scroll sealed with seven seals. In this chapter, the Apostle John describes his vision of a scroll in the right hand of God, sealed with seven seals. A mighty angel asks who is worthy to open the scroll, but no one in heaven or on earth is found worthy except for the Lamb, who is Jesus. Jesus Christ breaks the 7 seals from the scroll which His Father hands Him.
Chapter 6: Opening Seals
This period of time will be dark! Called the Tribulation. The Tribulation, a period of seven years marked by terror and divine judgments, is prophesied for those who remain on Earth, particularly the unbelievers.

1. White horse: The Antichrist will confirm a covenant with Israel and the Arab world bringing in peace.

2. Red horse: War Israel being attacked. (The destruction of Gog, Ezekiel 38-39)

3. Black Horse: A great famine will follow the war

4. Pale Horse: Death will follow famine

5. Martyrs who are killed for their faith in Christ, crying out to God and asking for vengeance for their death. Their request will be granted.

6. Earthquakes and probably nuclear warfare that will turn the sun black and the moon became as blood.

We will not see the 7th seal broken until Chapter 8. The 7th seals will unleash the 7 Trumpet judgements. In Chapter 7 Group of believers who endure the great tribulation (Revelation 7:14). Some believe that these persons are literally 144,000 Jews—12,000 from each tribe—who will preach the Gospel worldwide, embracing Jesus Christ as their Lord (see Revelation 7:4-9). Others suggest that the terms “Israel” and “twelve tribes” often refer to Christians (Romans 9:6-8; Galatians 6:16; James 1:1). Therefore, the number would point to God’s people (symbolized by twelve tribes, twelve apostles, or both) multiplied by 1,000 (a number that symbolizes an extreme multitude or length of time)—in other words, the full number of those who belong to God.

Final Destruction (The 7 trumpets)

1. Fire, hail and blood to fall on earth burning up 1/3 of trees and green grass destroyed.

2.  1/3 of the sea into blood, killing  1/3 of sea life and  1/3 of ships destroyed. I believe this is a meteor.

3. Another “great star” (meteor) named “Wormwood” to fall from heaven on the third of rivers and spring of waters making the waters bitter and killing many people.

4. 1/3 of the sun, moon and stars to be darkened.

5. Demons (Locusts) Torture of men who are not following Christ.

6. River Euphrates dried up and 1/3 of mankind are destroyed. By now more than half of earth’s population is dead. ¼ during the 4th seal (revelation 6:7-8) and 1/3 of the remaining dying during the 6th trumpet.
There are still those who refuse to repent to God. (revelation 9:13-21)

John eats the book. The bible is sweet to those who accept it, reaping eternal life and bitter to those who reject it. (Revelation 10:1-11)

The 2 witnesses: Testimony on earth (11:1-12) Some believe that these persons are Elijah and Moses or Moses and Enoch. They are granted power by God to perform miracles and to testify for a period of 1,260 days. However, they are eventually killed by Satan. After their deaths, they lie in the street of Jerusalem for three and a half days, and then God resurrects them, causing great fear among those who witness it.

7. 7th trumpet (11:15-19) is sounded, which will release the 7 bowls. But when this trumpet is heard, heaven rejoices, knowing that Christ is soon to reign on earth and for all eternity.

Chapter 12 Two signs are seen in this chapter.

1 sign: Woman dressed in the sun, the moon under her feet and upon her head a crown of 12 stars. This woman is Israel God’s people.

2 sign: A red dragon in the sky wants to devour the woman ( Israel God’s people) and her child ( Jesus Christ) The dragon is Satan.

Chapter 13
The beast of the sea is Governmental. Anti-Christ full reign to dominate the world.
The beast of the earth is Religious (false religion) is False Prophet, will draw millions astray by leading them to worship the antichrist – 666 mark, accept mark only be able buy or sell and you never enter into God’s Kingdom. Who take 666 mark was never written in the book of life.

Chapter 14
The lamb and witnesses (14:1-5) 144.000 Jews (embrace Jesus) or Christ followers taken up to heaven and are with Christ.
Angels’ Announcements (14:6-20)
An angel flying and proclaiming the Gospel in all the earth to every nation, tongue and people, inviting the masses to fear God and turn to Him.
Another Angel saying Babylon is fallen.
The third Angel warns if you take the mark of the Beast, you will be in eternal lake of fire.

The Harvest (14:14-20) Jesus is seen wearing a golden crown, sitting on a cloud with a sharp sickle. He thrusts the sickle onto the earth to separate (the wheat) tribulation believers from tribulation unbelievers.

Wrath of God (14:17-20) There will be so much blood spilled that will run for 200 miles, at least 5 feet high.

Chapter 15 prepares the 7 angels for the 7 last plagues, known as 7 bowls of God’s Final Wrath (15-16)

7 Bowls:

1 Sores upon mankind who received the Mark of the Beast.

2. Sea to blood and living creatures in the sea die.

3. Rivers to blood

4. Fire from sun, global warming

5. Beast’s kingdom into darkness. Mankind still refuses to repent.

6. Euphrates dried up, allowing the kings of the East, some people believe including China, to march into battle to devour the land of Israel, called the Armageddon.

7. Earthquake will shake the entire world. Babylon (worldly system, false religions, fall of the false prophet, world economics etc) will fall.
(revelation17+18)

Chapter 19
Christ returns white horse with his church (= who were raptured in chapter 4), His bride, as well his angels known as the second coming of Christ to fight in the campaign of Armageddon (revelation 19:11-16)

Christ defeats the Anti-Christ and the false prophet. The Anti-Christ and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire.

All mankind who took part in the rebellion were killed with the sword, or word, that came out of Jesus mouth.

1000 year binding of the devil (20:1-6)

1000 year reign of Christ (20:1-6)

Final and Eternal Celebration. A new heaven and a new Earth.

Everything New! (21:1-6)

Chapter 22:
We all live with our Father and Jesus Christ. There will be no sin, no sickness, no viruses, no corruption etc.

Jesus is coming soon! (22:7-13)
